Glad you happy with the picture of your Mk3,I used to have one and had no problems with it and would recomend as the used tv to buy with Bs3 enjoy

I now have a 7-55.

I was looking at the same two - except in my case a used 7-40 vs a new 7-32. Our Lounge isn't huge so we didn't want a domineering tv. We got a used mk3 bv7-40 on a low stand with the 7.1 speaker. It really does diminish the impact of the size. Also very happy with the picture quality and hdmi & blue ray options. A great tv !!

Regarding components the 7-32 is at least 1 year behind the 7-40. If you have the space and the money there is not a single doubt to go for the 7-40 (with 7-1/7-2 speaker).

The newest Bv 7-32 has 2 hdmi sockets and NO Bs3 in it and the older ones have no hdmi and only 1 Dvi (dvi does not carry sound).

THe Bv 7-40 Mk 3 has 4hdmi's that you can use but the back the MK4/5 only has two Hdmi's as one is taken up with the Blue ray player (if fitted) and/or the Dvb tuner.If only the tv has the Dvb tuner fitted then you have 3 hdmi's as no blue ray,which you can get/leave as an option!

We're currently considering buying a 7-32 or 7-40. Are these to equally equipped in terms of hardware? Beosystem 3 etc?
