I have the same Tv and run a Apple TV to the BV6 with a HDMI to DVI cable. You have to make a separate connection for sound to the TV. I assume this will also work with a blue ray player if it has a separate analog sound output or you use the YPBR connectors.

I've just received a Beovision 6-26 (European Version....I live in Canada). So, bumping up the power was no problem. I can receive a few analog stations with a set top antenna.

I'm completly new at HD. I will want to buy a Blu Ray player, and also attach my sattelite receiver (Shaw Direct, HD capable...at a cost). So which connections do I use? When I went to my local electronics store, they told me I must hook up the Blu Ray with a HDMI. But there is no HDMI connection on the TV. What is the DVBS connection for?
