Today I visited a relative of mine to whom I got the kit. He said that it was easy to install.
For some reason one of the straps looked like being a bit too wide to fit the groove perfectly, compared to the original strap it was about 2-3mm wider. The other three seemed to fit better.

The speakers looked much nicer with new straps in place, most of the originals have been cut/missing for a long time. Certainly worth replacing and this kit does the trick nicely. Thanks again.

They fit absolutely perfectly, and the enclosed step-by-step instructions are clear and so easy to follow, even I could do it without cocking it up - brilliant.

Well it looks like im outnumbered,

most of you want the original text stamped on them, so back to the drawing board for me then, [:'(]

ill be looking at buying a stamping machine today, and will let you know as it progresses.

Thanks Jay. I received my straps today and they're going to look great. I'm going to try some dry-transfer lettering, of course I'll practice on the old straps first. If anybody else wants to try this they're available from railroading hobby shops. Best regards.

My girlfriend noticed I had a pair of white design RL140 and fell in love with them instantly.
They will look great on the wall next to the white design Beovision LX2802.
I will get back here with feedback on the straps when I am done with the
crossovers, woofers and cloths.

this is a project im looking forward to seeing completed, ive never seen white 140s, hope you post some pictures

Great, I'm glad you're pleased.

We've looked into the text with numerous methods and due to it being such fine lettering seemed to be an issue with most printshops.

We found one guy that could do it but it virtually doubled the manufacturing costs, so we settled on plain bands.

As the later straps were produced plain by Bang & Olufsen we figured we'd stick with plain, dare I say it clean lines

I received my kit today! Thanks!

The material looks great and the instructions included seem simple and clear.

Is there any chance of getting the appropriate texts (model name and number) printed to the strips? If the original strip is still around I can cut the text from there and it wouldn't look too bad without it, either but...

I will pass the kit to the relative having the speakers and will report back after installation.
