Ok, here we go.

DTV - menu - "other possibilities" (or something similar, mine is in danish) - tunersetup - tvtuner Off.

This should give you the possibility of using the Beo4 TV button for external sources.

may i ask how you did this? i also use an external DVB-C on a BV7-40 MkII (SW 7.5) but i couldn't figure out how to get it onto the TV button...

First, you have to deactivate the analoge tuner(activated as standard), this will give you the option to choose "TV" as button for your external sources. Cant remember how right now but can check up on exactly how to turn it off.

No, unfortunatly that it not possible.

You can only change it for external sources, not the blurayplayer or inbuildt DVB-HD module.

I don't use the internal DVB-HD anymore, I use an external box instead. And all my HDMI sockets are used :o(

Not possible as far as I can see.. I'm talking about the built in DVB-HD module - I can only see the build in Blu-ray on AV4..

Hi, off course you can! in menu under connections register the socket where your cable box is controlled to TV (the TV option will be there when youve turned off the internal analogue tuner!

Not sure but I think it's not possible. Could be possible with the Beo5 by renaming the DTV to TV :)
