I'm having an odd problem with ML in my system and I am wondering if anyone has encountered a similar problem. My system consists of three rooms.

Room 1: US Beosytem 1 (set to option 2) and Beosound 9000 (set to option 0)

Room 2: US Beosystem 1 (set to option 6 (I could be wrong about this one)) and Beomedia 1

Room 3: Beolink Passive (set to option 6)

All of the above equipment is connected via preterminated ML cables and an ML distribution box. I had the system setup and working for several years. However, this past spring my Beomedia 1 stopped working so I sent it in for repair. I finally got around to hooking the Beomedia 1 back up and noticed that my Beolink Passive stops working (becomes completely non responsive) whenever I connect the Beomedia 1 to its ML cable. I thought the Beomedia 1 had an ML fault and was crashing the ML network, but this does not appear to be the case. The Beomedia 1 is functioning with both of the US Beosystem 1s regardless of whether the Beolink Passive is connected via ML or not. Also, the Beolink Passive becomes response again as soon as I unplug the ML cable from the Beomeda 1. I'm at a loss. Any thoughts?
