I just bought something similar for my dad's Beocenter 9000.

I opted for the Terratec Noxon iRadio for iPod.

http://www.terratec.net/en/products/NOXON_iRadio_for_iPod_16231.html

manual can be found here: http://ftp.terratec.de/HomeEntertainment/NOXON_iRadio_for_iPod/Manual/NOXON_iRadio_for_iPod_Manual_GB.PDF

Advantage: Also an Ipod dock included (= only one cable to connect "two things" an internet radio and the ipod), plus can stream music, has a timer set to go on simultanously as the B&O, can be used seperately, nice build quality and screen, remote control. can be used seperately as a stand alone radio

Little strange: the "line-out" can be controlled by the volume button

203euro (at redcoon, sold out on Amazon)

He's quite happy.

However, on
that product the 3.5mm socket seems to be for connecting headphones, so
you should use the proper line out connection which has the RCAs.

Take care that you get an adapter/cable that carries sound in the
correct direction (from the DIN to the RCAs), or get an adapter with
four RCA connectors so you can try which two are the right ones.

Can anybody tell me if there's much difference regarding sound quality between a 3.5-to-5 pin plug and a RCA-to-5 pin plug?

Thanks a lot
