The Beocom 2 replacements are available - saw one from the US on ebay but I too am trying to find out if the two wires are OK as the original has three wires.

Don't know about the Beo 5.

Re: B&O Batteries for Beo5 and Beocom2

That's the reason I sold by BeoCom2 and won't purchase a Beo5. I will probably sell my BeoLink 7000 soon as well (replaced that battery for big $ years ago). I'll only buy items with easy, user-serviceable/replaceable batteries from now on.

Hope someone has some advice for you, but I'm at a loss.

Re: B&O Batteries for Beo5 and Beocom2

Nobody???

B&O Batteries for Beo5 and Beocom2

Hello everyone,

My Beo5 and my Beocom 2 doesn't last very long on their battery... Maybe it's time to change it...

I've seen that there should not be any problem to replace the Beo5 Battery by myself, but do someone knows which battery replacement I have to buy? The idea is to avoid buying the battery at B&O for 2 reasons : 1. Cheaper; 2. Possibility of getting a new one with more capacity.
Is it a standard battery, or a B&O one, with a specific connector? And what's the B&O price?

Same questions for the Beocom 2, but maybe for this one the battery replacement is not very easy, as there is no service manual available... Maybe it's just like an iPhone, when the battery is low you have to get a new one ;-)

Has someone already replaced batteries on those products? Please share your experience!
