I cannot see that the Beo6 would use this system. It must be to allow the browsing of large music and video libraries and so will be unlikely to use IR transmission. But then again, it could also be that the bigger screen is just to ease the browsing.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I think the remote is for the Besound 5 but there again most new remotes will work with older kit up to a point!..Just have to see what it does but if&amp;nbsp; the remote displayed album covers be great in link rooms!..Who knows............&lt;/p&gt;
