&lt;p&gt;I am not 100% certain of this.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Though the BeoCom4 is not directly compatible w/ a 6000 network, I can&amp;#39;t imagine that the wiring is any different from the wall to the base.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;a target="_blank" href="http://forum.beoworld.org/media/p/270474.aspx"&gt;HERE is the pinout&lt;/a&gt; for the 6000. It shows power w/ the pins reversed from your comment.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;does anyone have the pinout of the RJ11 connector of the Beocom&amp;#39;s 4 power supply (RJ11 standard says + on pin 2 and - on pin 5, but is B&amp;amp;O compliant ???). I don&amp;#39;t won&amp;#39;t to order the orginal one, as a standard 6V psup costs around 5&amp;euro;, no need to spend 10 times as much for the B&amp;amp;O part...&lt;/p&gt;
