It is not datalink! (On-Topic.). The two extra pins can be screwed out of the connector. The BG 4002 was designed to be remote controlled via the 7pin DIN plug. The answer is to remove the 2 extra pins ( you should find that they unscrew with a fine watchmaker screwdriver and are easy to remove) to provide a 5 pin DIN plug to insert into the PU socket on the BM4400.
