Early Beosystems 2300 had two way communication. These versions have a small window covering the IR receiver. These versions have a clock and timer function but you need a Beolink 5000 or Beolink 7000 to operate them.

Re: Beosound 2300 timer

No timer fonction on the BS2300 ? It came on a later release then, because BS3000 ou 3200 has one really great (multi timer, day included, possibility to adjust an automatic standby for each individual timer, like the BC2.

Maybe Beotime is made for you, it can start whatever you want (radio, CD, TV) remotely, it does not have the same capabilities that the BS3200 or BC2 have, but it starts your source on the channel you want, stop it after a period you indicate on it. It is running on battery, so no problem in case of power down or whatever. Multi timer programmation, and dates/days timers programming are not possible, which is a shame for a product dedicated to that.

Beosound 2300 timer

i would like to use my beosound 2300 system as a radio clock, but this system doesn't have an inbuild timer funktion and if i place a timer a head of the system as soon as the beosound looses the powerconnection it forgets that it is supposed to be on. Is there any possibility to use this system as a radio clock? tks a lot.
