&lt;p&gt;However, either plug powerlink speakers in OR reset to Option 1 every time you switch the 9000 on. The 9000 will default to Option 0 if there are no speakers plugged in and will ignore commands from the remote.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It is a lot easier with a Beolink 1000!!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The &amp;quot;trick&amp;quot; mentioned in the forums of using SHIFT 9-0-2-5-8 does not function.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;I am keen to be able to do this as at the moment i have a cd mechanism that moves to the discs , clicks a few times and then goes to pause before switching off (CD does not spin) &lt;/p&gt;
