The OP asked about using an external amp for the Beovox versions. I recently posted my musings on this issue with regards to using a 60/70s Beolab 5000 amp with some Beovox 5000 panels. My Beolab 5000 amp has been serviced by Martin and is on its way back to me shortly. I also may have some Beovox 5000 panels on the way, so could possibly advise the OP in due course :)</p> <p>Acanthus&#39; setup is lovely, but the BV10 makes connection really simple. Not into surround sound, like my music and movies to be thrown at me, so thought about chucking in my mission floorstanders for a bit of style with some B&amp;O flat panel speakers. Any thoughts about wether this is a good idea or not or am I just being a tos..r. Would run them from my Onkyo amp, guess I would need a sub????
