If your cables are wired for both input and output, try changing the connections over! I have a bunch of DIN cables which are wired the wrong way round - incredibly confusing, an I fell for it just the other day on my Beomaster 6500!

Beomaster 2000 (89 model) with S55's

Hello,

Any advise on the following issue.

I have the above combination. Its quite awesome with the tuner operating. Ive connected an NAD , CD Player to it and the quality drops off, dramatically, so does the max volume.

Can anyone help with this?..could it be a component matching issue eg CD player input characteristics ?..

Im probably going to find an B&O CD player , if thats the solution. The NAD CD player is quite a high quality unit.

Thanks for any tips on why this would happen .

Regards

Michael
