I guess the spider spots are made of the same stuff the wipes are designed for. Roughly.

I've been using label remover to clean various things recently. Although advertised to just remove labels I've found it cleans everything that's a bit grubby beautifully with no problems of ruining the surface, however it's always best to test it somewhere less obvious first. I would have thought it would be ideal for spider sh droppings.

Steve

Beocenter 2100 - how to clean

A friend has asked me to help resore his mint Beocenter 2100 to life. I've already placed a query on the Workbench forum to ask about replacement panel lights (thread entitled "Beocenter 2100 dial lamps") but there is also a matter of cleaning.

Although the panels are currently undamaged, the unit has been stored where spiders live. Both plastic and Aluminium panels are therefore covered with lots of those spots which spiders tend to leave on anything which is under their webs.

Can anyone offer advice on how to remove the spider droppings, without damaging the panels? I would be quite upset if I damaged the condition of the unit.

Thank you in advance,
