&lt;p&gt;Personally I&amp;#39;ve never been too 
impressed with the ergonomics of the Beo4 by itself. This article 
discusses the entire user interface including the controlled device 
though, and that works much better.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have a Sony BR player, and its remote has 49 (!) buttons. &lt;p&gt;I started to read the link attachment, and two Expresso later was finally able to finish it.
