That is what I know. Thank you once again Vienna. This is what B&O brings to us owners sometimes: Headache! You pay lots of cash for a new product. I really like my BV 7-32. I love the integration of it. It has the DVD player and the DVB-S in-built and it is beautiful. And now all is gone. You can buy the external bluray player, the external sat receiver, a Gefen switch and there you have a nice pile of boxes. And all of that just because you bought your TV 3 months EARLIER than you should! Hilarious!

Re: What price the dvb-HD upgrade for a bv7-32 ?

Minimum requirement for built in HD-SAT is 7-32 Mk3 - sorry!

Re: What price the dvb-HD upgrade for a bv7-32 ?

Thanks Vienna. My Mk II (type 9321) BV7-32 is Hd Ready upgraded but since it has Normal DVB-S installed that Is why I was told that I cannot upgrade to HD DVB-S. Or is there something else useful I don't know?

Re: What price the dvb-HD upgrade for a bv7-32 ?

DrDimitris:

As far as I know there is no internal DVB HD for BV7-32 MK I and. II. If this is not the case I would be more than happy! Please Vienna give us your lights !!

My informations (Central Europe - maybe not valid for other markets) are:

BV7-32 Mk1 Type 9310-9320 and Mk2 Type 9321-9329 need FIRST being updated to "HD-Readyness"
(you'll need a HD-ready kit Type 4370 (part no. 1437000) + SW updates for the TV)
and THEN it is possible to install the DVB-HD T/C (HD-Terr. and HD-Cable) Module type 4674.

When SW does not fit there are a lot of things that can go wrong - nothing for DIY !!

Strongly recommend: a qualified B&O Service Center ...

The new DVB-HD T/C/S2 Module (HD-Terr.+ HD-Cable AND HD-SAT) CAN NOT be installed!

Re: What price the dvb-HD upgrade for a bv7-32 ?

Vienna:

For a 7-32 MK5 (new, ex factory) you have to add approx. Does anyone have a view on whether only specific mark/types could be upgraded? Ive found a PDF on the web with prices 350 to 500 British pounds but that only mentions dvb-t and wasn't sure whether that was standard def or high def all-in.
Anyone gone through the same previously with their bv7-32. Good or bad experiences ?
