This cures faults in the software 1.9 previously released.

Worth taking it back to your dealer to have it updated again.

won't make much difference, I still use my 6000 with the earset for work - the
5 is mainly used if the phone rings and I happen to be near it or to change the volume on the TV.

It makes a very pretty paper weight!!

G - a few genuine questions: when did you buy your phone - do you have the speaker base - does it all work fine for you?

Re: Beocom 5 "chrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" noise then dead line

I wouldn't bother Dan!! I have just had update 1.9 and now the phone will not pick up the phone book from the base. It has been back twice and just received it back yesterday. The problem still exists.

I have never know a product have so many many sw issues it is a joke for such an expensive product!!

software to resolve a number of problems including getting a loud static noise
(sounds like "chrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ") and then the line dropping
dead. The problem has reared its ugly head again; anybody else had this
or worked out how to stop it?

I thought maybe trying to return the phone and getting a Beocom 6000 would
probably stop it!!

Thanks
