&lt;p&gt;if you have no joy message me and i&amp;#39;ll send you the code to reset your handset to default and see if that clears any error&amp;#39;s but try the above first.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;div&gt;I seem to have a faulty BeoCom 6000 handset. It&amp;nbsp;often&amp;nbsp;rings once and then cuts out 
completely on incoming calls&amp;nbsp;or if&amp;nbsp;it does continue to ring it will not answer. 
Also when you try to get&amp;nbsp;a dialling tone&amp;nbsp;for an outgoing call you get a very 
loud engaged-type tone and the phone refuses to do anything useful. &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Is this a known fault and can it be fixed? I have 2 other handsets
working with no problem. The system is the older style with the square
black PSTN base and I&amp;#39;ve just done a search on here and it appears I
have a Mk.1 handset. The battery appears to be fully charged.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated before I try my local dealer for assistance.&lt;/div&gt;
