I figure they are a little too old to switch voltages automatically though right? Most appliances made in the last 10 years seem to but I figure a 25 year old Hi-Fi won&#39;t do this. Am I right?</p> <p>I have a pretty hardcore step down convertor back at my mum and dads in the UK which I could use, but I figure I&#39;m better off just selling this US system and getting a UK 5500 system one when I get there.</p> <p>It&#39;s a bummer as the prices seem to be a little steeper for those old systems in the UK than USA. Keep seeing Beogram 5005 / 5500&#39;s for &pound;250. I bought mine here for $250.
