the pre-amp - you don't need to play with the volume as the 9000 will
control this. Set to Option 0 by pressing Sound 0 Store on a Beolink

Keep the 9000 out of the way at this point!

Re: Beomaster & Beocenter 9000

Hey Craig, question regarding this thread, I have connected my BC9000 to my BM6500 and I know I need to set my BM6500 to option 0, two questions. How do I do that? and more importantly, do I turn the volume of the BM6500 all the way up and control the volume with the BC9000? or Visa Versa? Also, do I need to turn the 6500 off after every use or can I leave it on?

Re: Beomaster & Beocenter 9000

Yes you can, but if the BM6500 is visible. You may have to set it to option 0 to disable the I.R.

It seems I finally figured out that in order to use them, I just had to remove the faulty Beolab 150 amps that were completely dead and use them as Beovox Pentas driven directly by my Beomaster 6500. They sound incredible. Now here is my question....

My main music system is a Beocenter 9000 (It was also given to me from the same guy) but it doesn't have the same power as my BM6500. If is OK to feed the BM6500 the signal from the PreAmp output on the BC9000 and drive my Pentas with the 6500 that way? Also, it gives me an excuse to keep using my 6500 which I love!

Thoughts?
