&lt;p&gt;I agree with Burantek to find a Beostystem 5500 or a Beocenter 7x0x series with a Beogram CDX or CDX2 &amp;nbsp;:)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;While you can plug and play across so much different gear, if you are looking for period correct: I&amp;#39;d suggest two rather different systems -independent components: &lt;a target="_blank" href="http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=957"&gt;BS5000&lt;/a&gt; to include a CD50 or -an all in one: &lt;a target="_blank" href="http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=404"&gt;BC7x0x&lt;/a&gt; (follow the links at the bottom of this page to see the other BC&amp;#39;s in the range -7700 is excellent and offers 2-way).
