One big concern is on windows xp the beoplayer software does not allows the changes to opt in setting.
The advance setting tab is missing from setup config. However, the same setting is 
Available when connected to a laptop with vista sp1
Does any one knows how to make option 2 as default for the beoport in windows xp

connect via ML to beolab 2000. I think i connected every thing correctly
 but still no sound&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;3.5mm laptop out to 3.5mm 
beoport in, usb from laptop to beoport, ML from beoport to beolab 2000, 
option 0&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;What is wrong here and could you please share details of 
your similar setup with beolab 2000 and beoport.&lt;/p&gt;
