I currently have Beolabs 8000 and 4000 and currently thinking about a second centre speaker and rears any suggestions would be grateful.

I did not realise the MK5 was around £11k

is it better to get second life MK3 ?

It depends entirely on your budget !!

If you can afford a Mk5, it's obviously the better choice - and better TV. If you can only afford to spend enough for a used Mk3, then i'm sure you won't be disappointed at all - the Mk3 is lovely!

Not sure what advice you are seeking? The primary difference between the 32 and 40 is the size of the screen, clearly. After I upgraded the 32 looked tiny in comparison. Movies are far better on the 40.

The only downside is that standard definition TV is slightly more pixelated on the 40 as it as to be stretched to take advantage of the 1080P screen. I definitely noticed a difference there.

Re: bv7 32 MK2 TRADING UP

Hi

I upgraded from 6-26 to 7-40, couldnt be more happy with it. I have the MK3, with dvd. The DVD-player is very good, and the pictureprosessor in the integrated BS3 is flawless! I have a friend who has 7-32, and I must say, you cant compare them! If you can afford it, you should trade it, and try to get a mk3 to a good price. Mine is connected to ps3 with HDMI and the re-bl module. I can control everything on it (not gaming) with the Beo4. You can buy a bracket for the PS3 slim from STB-brackets, then you cant see ut from front. This way it is very easy to change blue-ray-discs. Picture with blueray is fantastisc, its almost like looking through a window! With PS3 you also have the opportunity to have a music-library, surf the web with the Beo4 (diffucult but works), and a great function to present your pictures. So again, if you got the money, go for it, and also buy a PS3.

Re: bv7 32 MK2 TRADING UP

You give an inch...

Re: bv7 32 MK2 TRADING UP

come on beoworld users your suggestions and advice would be appreciated

Re: bv7 32 MK2 TRADING UP

what are the cost for mk3 and 5 and what made you change

Re: bv7 32 MK2 TRADING UP

Its quite surprising how comfortable viewing is on a BV7 40. I had a 32" and upgraded to a 40" and love it.if you are upgrading, make sure you get the new 200HZ one released resently. I have a MK3 and the MK5 is superb.
