... the 1611 and then a five pin cable from the 1611 to the Audio Aux port on the 9300.

NO! You'll need a 7pin "DataLink" cable from 1611 to Audio Aux/TV on the 9300 - a standard 5 pin DIN can't
transmit the data required for system intergration!

Large48:

Probably better to run the speakers from the TV if it has a Dolby surround module etc.

YES! If you your speakers are active ones you should connect them to the PL sockets of your TV or DS
module and set V-/A-Option to 2/0.

It would be a ML cable from the TV to the 1611 and then a five pin cable from the 1611 to the Audio Aux port on the 9300.

Probably better to run the speakers from the TV if it has a Dolby surround module etc.

Then just a case of configuring each device to send the sound one way or the other.

Beolink converter with BC6-26 and BC9300

Hi,

I am a complete novice when it comes to connecting B&O equipment so I hope someone will be kind enough to help me out with an answer to this query.

I've just acquired a Beolink converter 1611 to connect my Beocenter 9300 (MCL) music system to my Beocenter 6-26 TV (ML). I wish to put the sound from the TV through the two speaker sets connected at present to the music system. I have yet to get the necessary cables to make the connections, which is where the question comes in - I want to get the right lengths to avoid paying for several metres of surplus copper!

I seem to remember a previous post referring to an audio delay when connecting a B&O music system to a B&O LCD TV - something to do with digital processing delays - but I can't locate it now.

My question is, if I connect the TV to the music system with the speakers connected directly to the music system, will I experience an audio delay? If so, will that be in both directions - I mean audio via the TV speakers and TV sound via the audio system? And will it make any difference if I run the speakers directly from the TV? Or am I worrying unnecessarily?

Any input from some of the technicians here would be very much appreciated. Thanks
