I've no objection to someone joining 100 times if i'm honest!

As jandyt said, this isn't a charity - but i wouldn''t call it a business either as there is no way it will show a penny profit for at least 3-4 years as we have big loans to pay off. Even if it did show a profit, i'd either plough it into developing the site further, or giving better prizes away!

How some people can grudgingly accuse it as a "commercial venture" makes me chuckle to myself on a regular basis too!

I'm determined to give great prizes at this time though. Giving something back to the members that dig into their own pockets to kindly support BeoWorld is not only my duty, but it's damn good fun too!

Lee, just for the avoidance of doubt, do the rules prevent any member buying multiple gold memberships, ie just like buying 2 or 3 lottery tickets. Obviously I know you want existing non gold to upgrade, but is it ok to buy another gold membership with new logon details etc.?

Well, most of my ideas get copied shamelessly somewhere along the line!

I promised i would keep the prizes good, and i have great fun hunting for the rare and classic items!!

It's also comforting to know that the people on BeoWorld are real enthusiasts, and really appreciate the time and effort i put into thinking about the prizes we offer. I get just as much pleasure giving away a 7000 system as i do a BeoSound 4 as i know both products will be going to great homes and caring owners.

We have quite a little stash of brilliant vintage prizes building up too! There is a set of BOXED BeoVox 2500 "cubes" in Mint Condition in the store, as well as 2 or 3 other items from the closed down dealer that are in "time-warp" condition. Great!

It's really nice to be able to give back to our generous members who support the site, and i'll make sure we keep doing this for as long as i can afford to make up the monthly shortfall!

Great prizes!

In particular these Beovox 4500 would go very well with my Beolab 5000 as they have the same dark blue clothes…

If I would be you I would update to Gold Member!
