On the Beo4, turn on the TV and then press Menu. Go to Set Up and then to Connections. It will show what each scart is assigned to. Highlight the scart you have the V8000 attached to and scroll through the choices till you get to B&O V.tape. Should work then! You use the diamond key to navigate around the menus and the Go button to store.

Beo 4 Vtape..

Hi folks.

A slightly embarrassing question but I have just connected a Beocord V8000 to my BV 3-32. I have an STB and a DVD (non B&O) connected. I thought the V8000 would automatically respond to the Vtape button on the Beo 4 but I am not getting any response.

Do I somehow need to assign that button to the video recorder? Numpty I know, but how do I do this?

Many thanks for any info.
