I have now tried to access a menu which should allow me to change my speaker setup, however the only speaker menu i have allows me to change the front and rear from 8000's to 4000's but as my projector is setup at a 90 degree angle from my tv, im basically wanting to see if im able to use 1 beolab 8000 and 1 beolab 4000 as my fronts and the other 2 speakers as my rears. Is this possible? I dont get another speaker setup menu after i connect the projector either? What am i doing wrong? Im getting the curtains on the TV aswel as the projector screen but when i change any speakers settings whilst on the projector..they remain the same when i switch back to my tv.

I hope this makes sense.

You can get HD resolution via VGA, not Full HD, because BV7-32 max. resolution is 1366 x 768. Same as BV7-40 MKI/II.

And pressing FORMAT 0 will activate the PROJECTOR out (VGA).

You will need to use the VGA connector for you projector though. Also if you do connect your projector with an IR lead you may not be able to control your specific projector with the a Beo4, only the 2 projectors that are in the projector list, you may need to get a software update on your BV7 to add your specific Projector to the list for the Beo4 to control it, I'm not 100% on this so again hopefully some one on here can clarify.

Just to help anyone that's not seen the connections on a MK1 BV7, heres a picture of the AV3, AV4, DVI and VGA Connections

Sky HD is connected to the DVI"

I think, Sky HD and PS3 are connected to a HDMI switcher which is connected to DVI-I input....(?), so you can choose between Sky and PS3 on the DVI input, am I right? Because a splitter connected to an input doesn`t make sense.

"if you connect it to VGA would you not lose the HD quality ?"

No. You have to connect to the VGA out - it`s labeled "PROJECTOR" - because this output will be activated by pressing FORMAT - 0.

"If I have to use VGA connection then I will have to get a long lead as my projector is on a ceiling mount."

Yes. I had 10 metres and it worked fine.

"Do you have IR connected to control the projector via BEO4"

Yes. I`m using a Lintronic box for the projector, the screen, lights, blinds...
