How could you possibly part with your beautiful BeoSystem 1 cabinet? I think it looks great with your setup. For myself, I increased storage by adding a 4-drawer Avant cabinet next to the BeoSystem 1 cabinet. The materials match perfectly. I actually like the interest created by have the sloping angle of the BeoSystem 1 cabinet contrasted by the straight front of the Avant cabinet. Certainly a matter of personal preference, but I find the contrast to be pleasing. Of course, my BeoSystem 3 cannot fit in either cabinet, so I have it placed on a rosewood block.

That is what I thought but was confused about the term "toned glass". So which would you suggest to go with a silver BV 7-55 with blue 7-4? We are thinking of one small cabinet on each side to replace our Beosystem 1 cabinet that currently houses all of our components.

Re: current cabinets

I'm not sure what's meant by "toned glass" but the cabinets have door panels that are interchangeable (sold separately) that come in brushed aluminum (like the stand bases), gloss black (like the BeoLab 4000s), gloss white (like the BeoCom 2), or mirrored aluminum (like hotrod chrome).
