Pins 2 &amp; 5 on the BT plug are the line signal.</p> <p>I suggest you check they have used the correct adapter because there are several types of BT to RJ11 adapters which look exactly the same, but the wiring is different. They are sayign that the cannot get a dialing tone from it. It was working pefectly when I tried it a home. It would not make any difference that there was a DSL filter conected to the phone when I got it, and tested it.
