&lt;p&gt;&lt;img src="http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/1070/bild2b.png" alt="" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So since there are only 3 wires in the BS2-IR-cable: yellow, green, and brown, I only connected these three as shown in the Beolink Passive manual.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This caused some problems, the Beosystem 2 was changing the channels sometimes accidentaly, very strange.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I just made it few feews ago and took a picture of the wiring, it works so it should help you.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Green = IR Data&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Brown = Sense .....or is it black (?) = ground&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In the setup manual is a different IR eye with 8 screws, I got one with only 5 screws.&lt;/p&gt;
