However, now I am not sure if I can successfuly use them with Beolab 2000. </p> <p>I came to know that iwht older beolink wireless unites ( with serial number starting below 199XXXX) I need a software upgrade on Beolink Wireless 1 if I want to connect the beolab 2000 with ML wire.</p> <p>The other option is to use other poerlink cabled speakers like - Beolab 2500 for example.</p> <p>Questions</p> <p>1. Is it ture that I need the software upgrade on older units of beolink wirelss 1 to connect to the Beolab 2000 or similar Masterlink enabled speakers. If so how much does it cost to get the software upgrade and how is it done. Can i do it myself?</p> <p>2. Is it ture that if I use the beolab 2500 speakers or similar active speakers with the wireless units I need the IR eye for it to work. Can I not set-up the wireless system without the IR eye - just the two wireless units and the Beolab 2500</p> <p>3.
