&lt;p&gt;Could I use a mono ir blaster (one ir at the end, available from lots of companies) to control one STB? This should be a very common.&lt;/p&gt;

As you can see it has just a 3,5 &amp;quot;mono jacket.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;B&amp;amp;O uses a splitter a 3,5&amp;quot; stereo jacket where the middle section is the V-Aux and the top section is the DTV/Sat. Both uses the bottom section as a common ground.&lt;/p&gt;
