It could also mean some capistors and soldering is the culprit with the lazer being fine!

Go to Ulf or Dillen in the workshop before buying another lazer.

Hi everyone,

I have a Beocenter 9000 from 1986 (Type 2501, NS 04712987). Just took it to my B & O service man and he revised the whole thing, doors sliding perfectly, cassette and radio excellent, but he said te CD laser is finished and he has no more. I would love to buy either a new laser or a complete CD unit from anyone, anywhere. I love my old B & O stereo and don't want it to sit there and not be used loudly as it was designed.

Can anyone please help?
