So is there a way of introducing surround sound while still using the BS3000? Or would I need to buy a new home cinema system?

Re: Best way to use Beosound 3000 as part of a home cinema set up?

Ha sorry, the 8000's are at the front!
The BS3000 just gets a Stereo Signal from your TV and sends this Stereo to your speakers. But there is no surround module.

Re: Best way to use Beosound 3000 as part of a home cinema set up?

theholmes:

Hi there,

Welcome to Beoworld.

IMHO start with swapping your speakers. I would move 8000's as fronts!!!!

Best way to use Beosound 3000 as part of a home cinema set up?

Hi

Beolab 6000 (Front)

Beolab 8000 (Rear)

I currently have the Beosound 3000 plugged directly into the back of the TV using a 5 pin din > RCA cable.
