As said the manual does not mention Beomaster 5500 and 4500, 9500 as being limited.

The only trouble with MPAV9000 is it only works well with the Beovision AV9000.

This means when the powersupply goes down you are left with the MPAV9000 and can't use it for anything.

Get a Beomaster 6500/7000 instead would be my advice.

The AV9000 is in my office and not in the house so this is why I use the 1611 since the 1610 is only for this particular TV.

The funny thing is that the Beomaster 5500 CANNOT enter in A.Option 0 but only 1,2,5,6!! So no chance for me to have it on option 0 and test.

Even when tested with 1610/AV9000 in the office it could work perfectly if I could have A.Option 0. But........

Re: AV9000 connection with Beomaster 5500.
If you can do Option 6 what about 5?

Otherwise I have no other ideas as option 1 for both should work in the same room. Or option 0 for the Beomaster 5500.

What's wrong when using 1610?

I linked it in my house link in option 6 and it mainly works using the 1611.

The issue is that I can listen to N.Radio, N.Music etc (using Link button) but the TV!!! Not even with Link.

Additionally, I can hear the sources but only on a certain volume level that I cannot change.

The AV9000 manual says that the following systems can be used:

Beosystem 6500 or 7000

45000 and 9500. There are limits to using these acording to the manual.

This works as I said.

I have been looking in the manual and it says:

Powerlink should only be used in 1 room if there is no speakers to the audio system.

Then there is a switch on the 1610 which should be set to 3rd position.

You should set the option to 0 for the Beomaster 5500.

Sound 0 store

The above is for 1 room for AV9000 and audio system.

What year is the AV9000? Type number?

It could be that the 1611 would work better but try the 1610 instructions first.

I can already confirm that it is indeed working.

However, the Beomaster 5500 has only option 1 or 2 and so has the AV9000. So after using the 1610 which is for direct connection with a Sound source on Option 2 (both) evertyhing works perfectly (e.g. watching TV switching to Radio -> TV switches off) but I also have double clicking of buttons meaning that when you press up then it skips one channel.
If both on option 1 then you can of course listen to radio or TV at the same time and if of course you want to listen to TV through the AV TV buttons but I find it a bit incomplete

So any other solution ideas how this could work?

Re: AV9000 connection with Beomaster 5500.
From the kitchen via MCL to Beosystem 6500 I can get the same sounds from living room as in the office.

From the living room I can get all AV9000 options of course + full control of the Beosystem 6500 in the office and get the sounds through the AV9000 centerspeaker for now as I got no Beolabs connected or yet to get some.

Just one question. What options do you have in TV and Beomaster?

Many thanks for the tip.

I already have the 1611 as well even though I used the 1610 for a long time.

But, the BC8500 was connected through DATA (AUX) and Powerlink cable (Full power link/old type). What about it in this case? Will only the AUX cable do the job?

Best regards
