Good to hear about your success! Burantek is right that there are very very few of these sold solo to clients. Most dealers can't even understand them.

Just to update anyone following. .

RadioRa2 is a 'supported' trigger for the MLGW.

You have to use the 'custom strings' section, but it's very doable.

It requires writing some trigger/inputs for RS232, very simple with the Lutron integration protocol info.

I now have a 6 button keypad where 1 button controls a light, one the "CD" function (for a BS9k linked), a "radio" button, an "advance" button (for filtering through songs/stations, and "standby"

The raise/lower buttons are usually used for dimming but I have programmed them to control volume up and down.

This is very exciting news. . .I will report that the MLGW will also tell the RA2 system what to do with no problem as well. I.E. my "cinema" button the BEO5 sends commands to my Lutron system through the MLGW (over ML) to turn off kitchen lights, turn on bar, etc.

VERY VERY COOL when you get your head wrapped around it.

This is a very nice way to have home automation without the need for a crestron/savant system. . the BEO4/5 can be your whole home remote as long as there is a B&O product to send the command over ML

The programming slide show is very good if you have a recognizing trigger system.

Radio-Ra 2 is not so you have to manually enter the input 'trigger' so to cause MLGW to do something . . . . .

Just wondering if anyone has actually done any "custom" programming. . i know that someone has used it with control 4 so I expect that to have been "custom"

I agree... MJM... you may have one of the only MLGW's out in the wild in the USA, or anywhere for that matter. I think that most, if not all have been sold as a component in dealer installed packages, rather than "loose". The real numbers of installs -???

If Trip doesn't see this thread -you might want to ring his bell via PM/email... He likely knows more about them and what you want to incorporate than anyone!

In the meantime... you might want to look here at ikatu's (developer of the MLGW) site and follow some of the links... the PowerPoint is actually rather informative.

OK Nothing to do with Memphis after all!

Masterlink Gateway and radiora/Lutron automation sound like areas that Trip or Keith S. might elaborate on. Maybe you've become the only Beoworld 'expert' in this area MJM!
