There is also a package with no monthly fee.

I have several of their boxes attached to B&O TV's and they work seamlessly via PUC.

In answer to your question, circa £350-£400 - better still, take advantage of the STB/puc controlling capability of the BV8-32 any buy, for example, a Freeview PVR such as the Topfield 5810 - even if you have to have your software updated to control the Topfield, should still only cost you £270 or thereabouts but massive loads of functionality and 1080i upscaling too!

I'm not keen on the idea of bolting a dish to the outside of the house to be honest. I also hear the Sky HD boxes are very poor quality, so are likely to be unreliable.

Freeview is the most ghastly way to broadcast. The channels are incredibly limited - no travel, European or culture channels along with poor reception> In my opion, receiving television through an aerial should have been left in the 1970s! To get the most out of a wonderful BV8 you really owe it to yourself to get Sky Digital r SKY+ HD if funds suffice!

I am thinking of buying a Freeview tuner for my Beovision 8 -32, does anyone know if this is an expensive upgrade?
