If you have anything to say - please tell!enCommunityServer 2008 SP2 (Build: 31104.93)https://archivedforum.beoworld.org:443/forums/thread/275494.aspxSun, 16 May 2010 15:54:40 GMT41a2a90c-3a1e-4bd3-b144-3883695a7f38:275494richtoy0https://archivedforum.beoworld.org:443/forums/thread/275494.aspxhttps://archivedforum.beoworld.org:443/forums/commentrss.aspx?SectionID=13&PostID=275494<p>I have just brought a second hand Beotalk 1200.&nbsp; It came with an incorrect wire&nbsp;[:&#39;(] but I eventually managed to get it to work with the help of other Beotalk posts on the forum.</p> <p>Once powered up I performed a factory reset (+01234+) and then proceeded to set a answer message before calling the machine, letting it answer and then leaving a message.</p> <p>All seems good so far and I get an indication of a missed call in the display.</p> <p>If I now press news then the Beotalk plays the recorded message and does a kind of reset i.e. the screen completely blanks before displaying the time again.</p> <p>If I try and cancel the recorded message whilst it is playing then the same happens.</p> <p>If I try and replay the answer message it plays it and then the same reset occurs.</p> <p>The reset is as if the answerphone does not have enough power to complete the task but I checked the PSU and it is the correct type (9v 0.3A)</p> <p>The seller has told me that it came &quot;tested from a B&amp;O dealer&quot; so I thought I would ask here before sending it back for a refund.</p> <p>Has anyone ever had a Beotalk fail like this?</p> <p>Richard</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
