I solved it by assigning another device in the PUC list and using the learning function in the Apple TV to learn that devices commands. That solved the problem for me. It also allowed me to add 9 extra buttons to the Beo 5 for control of the apple TV, such as play, fast forward, next track etc.

BV7 PUC issue with Apple TV

Hello ALl

i have read this problem on here before but i dont know if it was solved.

i have my AV5 connected to Apple tv which i put into standby when im finished with it.

if im watching Sky HD on AV1 via DTV and i use the STB control the apple tv seems to come back on and change screens and move around menus.

i know another BV7 owner noticed this before. Why would the ATV IR be sending commands when i am using a different source??

Any insight?
