Indeed I tested it with only one speaker connected and the other powerlink free.. after that the remote didn't work.

if anyone knows how to put it back to Option 1 with a Beo 4 or using the control pannel from the beosound 9000 (I think it's an MK1)I would be sending him a beer :)

Regards

I believe at least the early versions of BS9000 drop to Option 0 in that case, which means that it won't respond to the remote.

You'll need to reprogram it to Option 1, which is a bit annoying with a Beo 4 - I certainly can't remember how to do it since I don't have one at hand. Perhaps someone else can fill that in (or try searching the forum). Hope it is as simple as that!

Beosound 9000 IR port not working - please help

Hi there,

I have a very odd problem with my beosound 9000.

I'm using it with a Beo 4 remote as most of you I think and one day the IR port stoped working I think.

The only thing I did , was moving the speakers arround and then reconect them . When I tried to access the beosund with hte remote - nothing happened.

I thought at first that batteries were dead, but nothing happens with the new ones also. I borrowed a Beo 4 from a friend and it doesn't work also. My remote is working ok on his system.

Can anyone tell me what to do ? Did this happen to any of you ?

Is it possible that the usint to gather dust on the IR port in time and then stop reading my remote ?

Many thanks to all of you.

Stefan
