BV3 was replaced by new set, BV7 not as it was bought used

I had the same problem. B&O told me, that they had never seen this on the BV-10. After a nice job from my dealer, i got a a new TV.

B&O is made in Denmark thats near IJsland

And what have you done for the BV3 and BV7 ?

Have you noticed that the dust inside the contrast screen got worst after sometimes ?

I hade MX7000 no dust after 8 years, BV3 32'' dust when delivered, BV7 32'' dust after 1 year

I've had 7 Avants and a couple BV1s and none of them went wrong. My first avant was an old 28 VCR RF and that has lasted for ages... perhaps its a bit (lot) of bad luck?

Well, the title says it all.

Again I'm annoyed with my new Beovision 10-40, after "the clouds" now it's "the dust".

That's a shame because I love my TV.

Is it just me or the days of my bulletproof MX or Avant are gone ?

In fact no, the MX and the Avant wheren't bulletproof, my MX 6000 had a tube failure after a few weeks and my Avant had a chassis replaced to make the VCR work.

And if my memory is fine, I also saw dust behind the contrast screens of those two TV, but not after a few weeks !

I have to go back to see my dealer and will hate a screen dismantle.
