&lt;p&gt;That said, while Apple TV appears to only have component or HDMI, it would seem it can be made to output composite video (which can be used via SCART adaptor) with a bit of buggering about:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A new member here though i have been browsing on and off for over 3 years now!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I intend to purchase a used BC 6-23 for my study and want to confirm if i can use this as a PC monitor as well as connect to Apple TV- mindful that this is not HD ready so not sure how i can get the apple TV to work this..&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Do i need any special cable(s) to make this work? This is going to be standalone but could be linked at some point in the future to my BV7-40.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any help/suggestion would be highly appreciated or anyone with the same setup.&lt;/p&gt;
