I have made some progress!! I managed to get the displays of the Pantas working. It seems that the 9000 has 2 other A.OPT. A.Opt 5 & 6. A.OPT 5 was the one that made the displays working! But now, as Craig said I have to deal with these double commands...[:'(]

The A.Tape is still humming, the 9000 does not switch to stand-by and I get no information of the CD track on the Pentas! I think this will never end.

An other thing that annoys me a bit is that I always have to switch the 9000 to stand-by when I want to watch TV. I hoped that it will switch to stand-by automatically if I want to watch TV after listening to radio or CD.

It should, at least mine did when I had a 9000 connected to my BV3-32. My only problem was with the double commands.

So your 9000 switched to stand-by when you turned the TV on?

As far as I can remember it did. Pretty sure I could also turn off the BV3 from the 9000.

As you cannot set the 9000 option 0. You will find that you will find that you may get double comands. For example if you try to go to the next track on a CD it may jump 2. Or press Track 2 and you will get Track 22.

we have both - BeoCenter 9000 and 9300 in our family. I remember that the 9000 has no Powerlink-Sockets so I´d guess that the 9000 isn´t able to run the displays in the Pentas. You write that the informations from the BeoVision are shown so I think you have the right wires (the bigger ones). The 9300 and the 9500 have Powerlink-sockets so they musst be able to show the displays information.

Only my opinion!

Let me tell you the connections I have done: First I have disconnected the whole system from the mains (Avant, Pentas, Beocenter and Beolink Converter). Then I connected the Datalink cable from the 9000 to the AUX socket of the Converter. Then the Masterlink cable from the Converter to the Avant. After that, I have connected the Pentas, Avant and the 9000 to the mains. And finally the Beolink Converter!

Is that correct or does someone think there is a fault? Do I have to connect the Beocenter to the Powerlink socket of the converter?
