Bought a Beocord 8000 today! It is being sent to Australia. Matching Rosewood to my Beomaster and looks to be mint.

Totally agree... not only is it a timeless classic design, I love the sound of it with a pair of MS150 speakers...

I'm sure you won't be disappointed. If everything is working as it should, the 8000 is probably my favourite B&O amp of all time :)

The Beomaster 8000 i bought on eBay arrived today. I was blown away by the condition, basically spotless. Everything about it was mint. Even the Rosewood plinths look like brand new. Remote also mint. The unit was advertised as not tested and not working, so I bought it thinking I would need to do some work on it..

I turned it on, plugged my ipod via cable, plugged in my CX50's and to my amazement it worked like a charm and has been playing all afternoon.

It is the second B & O I have bought that supposedly were not working. My CD player on my Beocenter 8500 is going strong a year after I bought it after the lady told me it wasn't working.

Could not be happier with the Beomaster 8000, after much agonising about whether to get a Beomaster 6000 or an 8000. The big gun of all B&O's in my opinion. the Now a search for a mint Beocord 8000 or 8002 in Rosewood. Im in Australia if anyone knows of one.
