&lt;p&gt;&lt;i&gt;&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp;If your TV provides both fixed (FIX) and variable (VAR)&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;i&gt;audio output connectors, use the fixed connectors for&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;i&gt;higher sound quality. Be sure to select Fixed in the&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;i&gt;setup menu of your TV.&amp;quot;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If &amp;quot;fixed&amp;quot; mean line level, then it may work.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Too bad the BV8 has no digital out, because &amp;nbsp;that is an option that Bose speakers has.&lt;/p&gt;

Therefore it should be&amp;nbsp;possible&amp;nbsp;to connect this system to one of the powerlink sockets on the BV8-40 with a powerlink to composite adapter.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

You probably can use them by adding a Beolink Passive in between the BV8 and the speakers. Please note that you then only will be able to have stereo output. I.e no surround capabilities.&lt;/p&gt;

Before I get them I was curious if they&amp;#39;d even be compatible with my television. Any responses would be appreciated!&lt;/p&gt;
