&lt;p&gt;- you unscrew / dissasemble and open the clamp mounted to the baseplate &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;-&amp;nbsp;shorten the tube&amp;nbsp;on the BOTTOM end! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;!! On the top end you will cut away the cable entry and the bushing/insert for &amp;quot;plugging in&amp;quot; the BV/BC1 !!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;!! Don&amp;#39;t forget to protect the aluminium tube during clamping&amp;nbsp;in the vice !!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Lift up the aluminium disc trim and you&amp;#39;ll see the pole is clamped in. &amp;nbsp;Undo the allen bolt, free the pole, then take it to a metalworking engineers shop who&amp;#39;ll precision cut it to your desired height - bingo!&lt;/p&gt;
