Agree with that, as the battery charges up the amount of amperage going in will taper off anyway.

Beosound 3 Power Adaptor (Ampere Question)

so my daughter recently managed to completely destroy the power adaptor for the beosound 3. long story short, I have to buy a new one now. The local B&O dealer is asking KRW 200,000 (roughly USD 200) which I think is highway robbery given that a local electronics shop sells a similar one for USD 15. The problem is that the original is 15V 1A and the one at the local shop is 15V 1.5A. I tried plugging it in and it has no problems charging the battery and playing.

My question is will using the 1.5A vs. 1A adaptor damage the beosound 3 or it's battery? I defer to the beoworlder's expert advice.~
