CAT7 is specified for 600Mhz, meaning (at least) 1Gb/s of traffic on IP-traffic. This is a lot more than WIFI, used i.e. by Sonos.

All other brands like Sony,Samsung,Panasonic etc connect a television with one (1!) ethernet cable.

A CAT7 cable consist of 4 pairs of drilled 2 wires, 8 wires in total in one cable. This cable is ending (typicaly) in an RJ45 plug.

If you need ten cables...where do you connect all the plugs?

Just wondering,

Its a 65 sqm small flat and I just want to connect the living room via a wall closet (which I will use as "Media Room" to the kitchen. Around 300m of CAT 7 cables will be used, just for example from the "MediaRoom" to the living room will got 10 different CAT 7 cables to be able to transport HDTV signals, MasterLink commands, PowerLink Surround signals etc. etc. I think 20 years ago a similar amount of datas was used at the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), we use today only for Video and Music signals.
