Thanks for all the advice guys.

I might just configure my current setup differently. At the moment, I have two of the B&O single drawer aluminium fronted cabinets cantilevered off the wall (using "L" brackets that can't be seen) in a stack underneath my wall mounted 32inch LCD. These contain DVD player and other peripherals, and a whole lot of wiring and cables! The Mac Mini sits on top. I've realised however that if I install the two cabinets side by side, their combined width is, fortuitously, the same as the width of the BV10. I will ditch the unused VCR from inside one of them and replace it with the Mini, wall mount the BV10 directly above them (thus concealing any cables) and the result should be super-sleek (I hope)!

My only concern is that the polished aluminium of the BV10 may clash with the brushed aluminium of the cabinet fronts. But I think it will probably be okay. B&O do seem to play around with their aluminum finishes somewhat...

Should be easier to buy a long HDMI to DVI cable and Spdiff cable, and then hide the mini elsewhere. An STB solution could be another mount that will mount your TV 10 cm´s from the wall adding room for a mini, but do you really want that??

To answer your other questions: I don't think there is enough room to hide a Mac Mini behind a wall mounted Beovision 10. You should either make a hole in the wall, fit the Beovision 10 on spacers or find another solution. I prefer the latter option...

As far as I can work out there is a solution for a adding a Mac Mini with a floor stand not with a wall mounted Beovision 10. Am i missing something?

Hello Stuart,

The similarities between Rothko's paintings and the Beovision 10 are very clear indeed. I don't know if you've seen his paintings in the flesh, but some of the surfaces seem to float above the background. It worked for me, but some find his paintings depressing.

A pair of wall mount brackets for the Beolab 6000's would set you back € 280. Some members on the Dutch forum have complained that you can't rotate wall mounted Beolab 6000's. Not sure if this is of interest to you, but I thought I let you know anyway.

BV10 David Lewis Inspiration?

Not sure if others have pointed this out already, but my interest has been piqued as I'm about to buy a BV10. Google 'Mark Rothko' (images) and you may well be seeing some of the inspiration behind the design, quite apart from the BV5. After all, B&O have been marketing the BV10 as 'art'.

On another note, is there a mounting solution for concealing a Mac Mini behind a wall mounted BV10? Is there room?

Finally, can anyone tell me what the wall mount brackets for the BL6000 are worth? They look so good in the pictures...
